Amir Khwaja Co-Founder

Amir was CEO and Founder of Clarus Financial Technology from 2012-2024. He has over 35+ years of experience in OTC Derivatives and Technology. His prior positions include Director at Calypso Technology (2005-2012), CTO at SunGard (2002-2005), CEO & Founder at Kronos Software (1998-2002). Amir started his career at Chase Manhattan (now JPM), after a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Chris Barnes Co-Founder

Chris has 20+ years experience in OTC Derivatives markets, most recently at ClarusFT and as Head of Rates & FX at LCH SwapAgent from 2014-2024. Prior to this, he established Rates Trading at State Street (2010-2012) and traded Cross Currency Swaps at HSBC in London (2002-2010). His journey with AI started in 2001, when he published his dissertation on AI at the University of Cambridge as part of an MA in Natural Sciences.
